Challenge
AMD wanted its AI hardware and tooling in front of developers building agentic, multimodal and physical AI products, and it wanted that to happen through real building rather than ads.
Objective
Design a global hackathon that gets developers hands-on with AMD's stack across three AI tracks, without needing everyone in one place.

How we designed the partnership.
KNOTiC structured the tracks, ran mentor support, and managed submissions end-to-end across a fully online, global program.

Structured the program around three parallel tracks: Agentic AI, Multimodal AI and Physical AI, so builders could pick the track closest to their skills.

Ran the program fully online and globally, open to individuals or teams of up to three.
- 03
Provided free AMD Radeon GPU access to eligible participants for development, optimization and testing.
- 04
Required registration in the AMD AI Developer Program to qualify for judging and prize eligibility.
Program
One global hackathon, three AI tracks.
AMD AI DevMaster Hackathon
A fully virtual, global hackathon across Agentic AI, Multimodal AI and Physical AI, open to individuals and teams of up to three, with free AMD Radeon GPU access for eligible participants.
- 1st place per track: $5,000
- 2nd place per track: $3,500
- 3rd place per track: $1,500
- Total prize pool: $30,000
Developer & community impact
Developers picked the track that suited them. Eligible participants got free AMD Radeon GPU access and support through AMD's AI Developer Program.
